How to stay safe through selling a website?

    Hello, I am delling a website in the x,xxx range
    Is it safe to just use paypal? or should I use escrow.com?
    What is the safest and most general practice regarding website sales.
    Do i give him the content, get paid, then give him the domain? or how should I go about it?

    I am wrestling with this over a $200 domain sale.

    In your case it is a no brainer. Go with escrow.com or a like service.

    These scammers can take your domain and your site. Then do a chargeback through PayPal and you lose it all.

    The fees are a small price to pay for security after the sale.

    I sold a domain (no website) for $300 used sedo... it was fast and painless.
    Problem was the fees are high (%10)
