I have gone from a 17inch CRT to a 21inch CRT to now a 22inch wide screen LCD. HUGE diffrence.

Also I have a pair of what they call computer glasses. They have a 1/2 correction on the lenses as well as a glare and radiation filter on them.

The LCD has very minimum radiation, a lot less then CRT so I only use the glasses when I have a headache or am tired and the small amount of radiation from the LCD screen would bother me, otherwise the LCD is fine.

I thought getting an LCD will solve the problem, since the CTR really used to kill my eyes. But looks like it just slows down the process of killing our eyes.
I think our eyes are going to die whatever kind of screen we try to use.

THey should invent new screens that has no effect on the eyes, even if you sit 48 hours straight!

To be honest, its a little inevitable. The best you could do is limit the damage.

    use LCD screen
use bigger screen 19 and above
try wild screen there is hug advantage with wild screen , the eyes can see the wild thing better that tall things so it's more comfortable

after 1 - 2 hours blink your eyes to another thing
