Tried searching Youtube for free videos? Good move though, learn before you start using! You can lose a ton of money if you dont.

Apart from youtube there are some real life examples that I have for my account - give me a shout if you want to see how I design and bid on my campaigns.
I created an Adwords eBook a while back. I was going to sell it, but decided not to because I didn't feel like it had quite enough information. It is still great for teh basics though. Jump PM me if you want it... I'll email it to you for free.
In my opinion, getting a campaign launched on Adwords is just the tip of the iceberg. You can learn everything you need to know (including offer selection, bidding strategies, and TONS of video tutorials) in a paid coaching forum like AffiliIT, PPC Coach, or PPC Classroom. Most of them have trial offers so you only pay $1 for a week of membership, so you can see if it's worth the investment longer term. I am a strong advocate for these types of programs simply because they provide an entire business formula for success online. Not just a "band aid" approach. I know you have to pay to be a member of these places, but the $50 or so I spend is far outweighed by the information, ideas, and strategies I learn there every day. Good luck to you!
