AdWords, you need to pay Google to show your ads. You get targeted traffic, that you can convert to income.

    Hi Serghei,

I hope you understand what Adwords do? To get started, you should create an account at Adwords homepage.

They charge $5 to get started.

Then, you set the bids for keywords that you would like to advertise, write your ad copy and you are ready to go. Make sure you make more money then you pay for your bids. It's not that easy. ;-)

I have been trying AdWords for a couple of weeks now and I can see why people quit so easily.

First of all AdWords is quite complicated. Setting up a campaign is a 1,2,3,4 step process, but what gets really interesting is the constant monitoring that you have to do to make sure your keywords are (a.) working and getting you traffic and (b.) have not gone up in price since last time you checked.

However, last time I advertised in a newspaper it was $300 for a few publishings and it brought me nothing, AdWords works! And it can be as cheap as you want it to be, or as expensive as you are willing to bid.

I recommend that you read Google's actual help documentation, then write a few ads, and use some of the keywords that you know already bring you traffic to your site (usually your site stats program can give you this information), then keep monitoring your campaign to see what is working and what keywords are useless for you.

Remember that you can make multiple campaigns and multiple adds within one campaign, and then use select keywords in that campaign to direct to certain pages of your site, you are not limited to one page per campaign at all.
