site flippers just don't get it. The $50 you make for that site. Could easily be made back 3-4x in one year. And after that year it keeps making money. Build 20 sites and sell them and you only make $1000. build 20 sites and keep them and you'll likely make $x,xxx the first year. And then the second year build another 20 sites and keep them. Repeat this process and before you know it oyu'll have 100 or so sites making you much more per year than you ever would have from flipping sites

The problem with that idea is in updating all of those sites. Some people can do it, and some people will hire others to do it, but some won't want to invest the time and/or money for that. They just want a quick turn-around for cash. It's similar to the Web writers' choice of taking cheaper gigs for quick money or investing time into querying larger publications for more. Some people just don't want to be bothered with it.

If you're starting with 0$, you need to make it up with time and work. Do some freelance work like article writing, web design, development, whatever you think you can do, even post on forums for a few bucks. Then when you got enough money, buy a hosting and domain. Start a blog and create useful content. Use the tips found on the Link Building and SEO forums to promote the site. Sell adspace and links..

That's lots of work. Well, you have no choice if you're starting from 0$ at hand.

    ^_^

The easiest way would be to create some articles and get paid for them. Firstly though, setup a free blog at blogger.com or somewhere and then after a few weeks of updating it - apply to PayPerPost.com or somewhere and start writing some paid articles.

When you've some money in the bank, buy a site for a small amount of money and see how you can monetise it from there. Then a few months later, sell it - or branch out new sites from the existing one - a free source of traffic.

Unfortunately, business isn't easy - which is why so many people work for others and not for themselves :)

Hi, if you want a better host (which doesn't allow people to delete your account), try x-byte hosting. You can test out the control panel and try whatever you like on the site here. The username is 'extendtest.co.uk' and the password is 'password'. You will have to use the 'Temp URL' to get to the site. e.g. http://82.110.105.86/extendtest.co.uk

If you join our affiliates and make us a couple of sales, we will give you a free hosting package (gold, unlimited b/w and space) plus a domain name. You can join our affiliates here.

Oh, I forgot to mention, PM or post here for more details. :)

What I meant was that if you joined our affiliate program and made us a couple of sales, you could have the gold package for free. We give it to you as thanks for the two other sales, in addition to the 15% you get with out affiliate program. I don't know how good your free package is, but I would guess that our paid package would be better, and as it is for free...

Also, we guarentee 99.9% uptime and full support if you didn't know.

Proxy script will slow down the server with very few visitors, so most shared hosters don't allow proxy even they get paid.

    Good luck

It's not easy to sell .info domains for that amount, as a matter of fact any domain for that amount easily, unless its a domain in extreme demand.

It might not be the case always ...

Also depends on how good a marketer you are and you seem to be a great one :).
