Codecademy is a great way to get started. It'll give you good exposure and practice with the basics. You won't be a master by the time you complete the Codecademy Pro lessons, but you will have a decent foundation and you will know if you like web development and if it's something you can see yourself doing everyday as a full-time job.
this is what i did, 1. select simple web site. 2. create that site just like same with photoshop. (you can copy images with that site) 3. that convert it into html. Just like same. Sizes, colors, padding margins and everything. if you can create the same site, and you can create small web site yourself. If you need to study. you can see sites such as w3c schools.
