If you were completely new to affiliate marketing how would start out? What are the best places to invest?
Firstly, you will need to decide what niche you want to work in. Then, you must have a site with traffic. (Avoid PPC if you are new to both PPC and affiliate marketing). Do you have an existing site that you would like to use?
Look at www.MoreNiche.com - they have maybe focus on health niches, but they provide support, tools, guides and video all free worth of $100's of dollars of practical advice; With 20 to 50% commissions, it's pretty easy to make reasonable side money, or go full time and make 6 figures a year
i am also curious to know how can i make money using affiliate marketing. How does it work? I have a click bank account but i want to know which products to choose? do i need a landing page? how can i bring trafiic ?
I was looking for a site that a newbie could go to and not get lost. I have seen a lot of sites and it seems that They are telling you something that you should do and it just goes by, because the newbie is not ready. I see it is reel hard to separate the newbie's from the experienced and still have a place to help.
Some people say that you should focus on which niche, then go from there. However, some disagree with this logic. Here are two good articles about it from each side of the coin: Finding Your Niche Don't Pick a Niche!
For me I study a keyword, make a site, generate a traffic then find a product to sell and run adsense on it. There are alot of other way to this though, but I just start with this.
Firstly you need to find something you are interested in, then see if you can make money with it. If you are interested in what you are promoting you can get easily disillusioned. My personal recommendation however is the same as stated above. MN has been far and away the best place for me when I first began affiliate marketing.
