I am new to SEOing and I have seen people being paid in excess of $500.00 to SEO one site! I was just wondering how I could get started off. I have my own websites to experiment on and I was kind of curious as to how to start off!
If anyone could help me that would be great!
    Thanks
    Mike

The best start up is experimenting yourself before paying.

pick a not so highly competitive keyword and have content with that keyword in it. Its much easier to rank for keywords that are 2 or 3 words.

First, in on-page SEO, do keyword research and check if:
    1.) Is your keyword competitive?
2.) How important is your keyword?
3.) How long would you top SERP using your keyword?
Then, after that, create a content that may get the viewer's attention. It may give the viewers the interest to visit or to link to your site.

The best way to get started is just to think about it logically. Target a keyword you think you can successfully challenge for search engine positioning on, and optimize the content of your site to highlight that keyword (without overdoing it).

Its a sensitive game, and the rules change constantly, so you just have to get your hands dirty and evolve as you go along.

First Thing is to do is to make an analyzation on the site.
and find your targeted keywords that preferred on your site. before you go on your on-page Optimization.

I am not an affiliate & I get nothing in return for promoting it, but if you buy the book at SEOBOOK dot com and follow it religiously, you are well on your way to success. This is far and away the most comprehensive book for the do it yourself SEO IMHO.

Hmmm, competitions are good, because if you have no competition, site would obtain lesser traffic, because in SEO, your goal is to get more traffic and higher SE ranking. The more traffic you have, the higher chance of getting revenues and sales.
