How to start link exchange???

    hi!!! everybody we are creating a new social networking site i have submitted my site to many free directories, article, blog, social bookmarking and press release directories but yet i didnt start link exchange i dont know how to start......if anyone can please give a suggestion for how to start a free link exchange??

    What I know little is that you need to search for similar site theme and request for link exchanges. Go to Business section of this forum and you will see Link Exchange forum, you can try you luck there

    does anyone know how to check PR of each page? Is there a toolbar or something?

    one way- site A link to----> site B
    Two way- site A link to----> site B in return site B link to----> site A
    Three way-site A link to----> site B AND B link to----> site C AND C link to----> site A

    Search for theme related companies in case of yours it's dating and start sending them mail about request of link exchange.

    Respond to all the mails you recieve in reply and then exchange link with a site.

    Criteria for link exchange

    1) Check the PR where your link is put.

    2) Make sure it is regularly cacheable by google.

    3) The page where your link is present must not have more than 50 links.

    4)Link page should not be more than 3 pages away from home page.
