I'm not sure, but I think you can go down to your local bookstore and find some books in the reference section. Generally the For Dummies series has some good tips and tricks, like building your first website, and so on.
If you have some type of skills you will be able to make money on the internet ie: writing, web design, or seo... If you don't have any type of skills then it will be more difficult to make money online.
Everyone has a talent. What is yours? If you don't know, figure it out and then market it. Making money online is not as hard as some might think. Its the marketing of the talent that becomes the hard part. Those that fail are the ones that fail to take action. Your not going to sit back and get rich like others have said. There is a post in my blog on making $100 a day. Its fast and easy and best of all its free if you have a computer, word processing software and the internet. Which I am guessing that you do.
