    That may be "Depracated" but knowing how to do that and not being able to do anything when it comes to helping your self build , edit, and maintain a website, it's better to learn something a little outdated that still works than not know anything at all!!!

    I first picked up HTML back in the mid 90's... ages ago! When I'm hand coding I still use tags that I'm sure aren't used anymore. Thank god for backward compatibility within web browsers! :)

    First -> HTML (Please dont use Frontpage)
    Second -> php & a bit Mysql
    Thirth -> css
    Fourth -> Photoshop
    combine and ... you are capable of beautifull things

    Greetz,

    You need a very good design program, i.e Photoshop CS3 or Macromedia Suite. Then you should know how to code or you could hire someone to code your design. Then just promote your site. Very cost effective way and easy.
