How to start e-mail marketing at legit?

    Hi, I just wonder how to start them as a legit. I mean, my site has email lists but I need to find more prospect group. If I use some software to collect mail as keyword searched in related theme and send them mail about mysite. Is it bad? I don't meaning in sell but just want to let people awareness of my site. :D I ask here first because I'm afraid of kind of spammy but I don't know exactly how to avoid it. please suggest me.

    You are afraid of being spammy yet you propose to spam? What you are thinking of is illegal and people gt put to jail for it. Don't do it! You need people to VOLUNTEER to receive emails by getting them to OPT-IN.

    You know that so don't try and bend the rules.
