Guys, has anybody heard about luminophore? I've read an article about it.They suggest to start business with it. But I need a piece of advice and I hope your experience may help.
have never heard about it, and after a quick google search the only thing with business that related to luminophore is making a business with things that glow. Question is (if that is what you are meaning) is there really that big of a market to manufacture a range of products that glow and make a decent profit out of it? i would like to see this article you speak of since my spidey sense is tingling, and my first impression would be that most products that you could make luminescent and it be useful (or semi-useful at least) have already been made and are already dominated in the marketplace. although, i could be completely wrong and glow-in-the-dark is the way of the future for everything. /2 cents
You are right this product can make different thing glow. You can use it in different spheres, I'd like to know which one is the most profitable....I can't post you a link where the article, I've read
first of all, do not spam like that, it will get you banned in a heartbeat. second, that article is someone offering the chance for a franchise, which im sure you must be aware. as for the most successful product in which to make, it would be hard to say, you will need to do quite a bit of research and use alot of luck with the product you choose. As i said earlier, many luminescent products are already out there and it may be hard to compete with them. For the most business your idea will need to be unique and you will need quite a bit of money to invest. just be warned that if you do start a business with this, dont expect it to go viral straight away (if at all). Just make sure you do all your research before jumping in and buying into a market you dont know about. hope this helps.
save your money, keep searching. I can source ready-made luminophore trinkets from China for pennies, but distribution costs will sink you. As for approving it for use in other products, get real - Russia in not in the EU, and all chemical luminophores have a low radioactivity level and need special approval for import and use (yes, glowing-in-the-dark toys are either illegally imported or have a special customs regime). besides, these guys joined late for the show - with the current recession, there is a strong tendency towards budget, efficiency and green materials - the market for this as part of the materials bill for something bigger is really insignificant.
Yes, I know that it is possible to buy different trinkets in China, but with luminophore I can make different things glowing. For example, I can paint car wheel rims with it and I don't think that I will be able to buy ready-made glowing wheel rims. Besides, could you just imagine glowing picture for example. In daylight it is ordinary picture, but at night it can glow. I hope that it won't be the waste of money.
things like painting car rims with luminophore might be hard since it could be illegal for street use since it could cause a distraction for other commuters. if you are wanting to get into that business then by all means you may try it out, but just do all your research first. also keep in mind what elladrone said about if it is ok to import it to your country.
As far as I know luminophore is completely safe. So that's why it is allowed in most countries, so there won't be any problems with its import. I asked the company that sells luminophore, they have all the necessary documents. As for car rims such tuning is not forbidden by law. It works for car: for example, it can be used in auto-tuning (aerography on the car body, painted wheel rims, hub-caps, license plate and bumper guard).

I already found some useful information about legal it or illegal, cuz I seriously want to start this business, so luminophore is safe it won't be illegal! I've already answered that question to LemonHunter33 above. You ask me the exact the same.
Luminophore is powder that glows in the dark. It has a wide range of uses. In daylight, luminophore applied to exterior surfaces has a greenish-yellow shade. In the dark, it glows light green.
what advise are u actually looking for ? if u want business ideas about products u can use this stuff on, I guess this isn't the best place. but, I guess there could be a few people who could buy, rims and stuff coated with this stuff but, to get to them u'd probably need to get in touch with companies that are into modifying cars etc. Other than that I think uses are limited. If the kindle had ink that would glow in the dark, it would make the kindle a lot more useable at night. Books that could be read in the dark would be awesome in third world countries where electricity isn't available.
grawat your idea about books that glow in the dark is an amazing idea, the only problem (feel free to correct me if im wrong) is that in order for luminophore to glow, it needs exposure to sunlight, so each page wont be able to have that kind of exposure in order to glow. and DerekC, you seem pretty set on starting this business using luminophore to paint car rims and other items. as suggested above, get in touch with some companies that make car rims and see if you can buy bulk for modifying yourself. if that pans out perhaps find your best supplier for luminophore. dont just pick the first one you find, shop around for one that is reliable and well priced. if you can get those two, perhaps create 1 set of glowing rims and contact some shops that sell car accessories and see if they would like to resell your product. best of luck with your business =)
Could you suggest maybe a better place for business ideas about new products? Thanks for advice. But I disagree with you in the point that the uses are limited. Cuz it is a new technology for architectural design (luminescence for external and internal night club, bar and cafe veneer, as well as residential interiors). The usage of luminophore’s properties in interior design is a very interesting option, as the results are only limited by your imagination. Many surfaces can be lent this luminescent effect: metal, wood, brick, concrete sand, cement, façade tiles, gypsum board, polystyrene and others. Artificial and natural decorative stones also look very impressive. Making patterns and paintings on the walls and ceilings of the interior, as well as detailing furniture (chairs, tables and bars) is also possible. In addition, you can create a “starry sky†on your bedroom ceiling, luminescent patterns on the baseboard and doorframe floor molding and cues on electric switches, etc.
