I strongly suggest that you and anyone else reading this study business and marketing before jumping into a business, online or offline. It will save you a lot of headache.

Start small, make sure you have a USP, and keep the technical side of things simple so that it isn't too time consuming and you can focus on making sales... First, do some research. You should know your market size, competition level, product margins and profit goals before you even think of creating a site.
