I'm a beginner in this domain and I would like a few steps.
Basically I understand that when starting doing affiliate using PPC you must:

    1. search the market and find a niche
    2. find the product
    3. get the affiliate link
    4. start the campaign

I know first three steps are crucial and lot of theory and practice is need it but at the campaign stuff I'm loosing track.

    What you should do?

Start with adsense and directly insert the affiliate link? Use a redirection link for statistics? Use a landing page? What is the best scenario? Can somebody help me, and other beginners getting a real start?

    Thank you ;)

Everyone says "find a niche", but that has to be the hardest part I think. If you are passionate about a certain subject, product, service, etc. then it will be easy for you to research because you'll want to know more and share the knowledge. Also, of course, it doesn't hurt if the niche is really a hot-topic right now, because that's what will get the visitors looking for the keywords you select. There are a ton of keyword assistance tools, as well as asking the affiliate manager of the program you choose. Read and learn everything you can about SEO.

Manage your PPC campaign under a microscope and really learn what keywords are making you money. You may be getting a lot of clicks but no sales. This kills your ROI.

Creating a landing page that has great content and targets your keywords is something that will improve your Quality Score with Google (if that is who you are using for PPC) .

Adsense may not always be the way to go if visitors are leaving your page immediately and purchasing from another affiliate or competitor. You'll have to judge whether the Adsense income is worth the departure from your site of a potential customer.

Hope that helps. I'm not an expert but I've worked with many affiliates who relay these tips, as well as the reading I do and the use of this forum.
