How to start a website from scratch make it,market it and make money off it!

The posts above say how to do things and get started, but most of us get stuck (and many quit) is in the actual doing.

There is a new search trend I have found, It's called "local search", and it is a lot of people are using it.

You can use this trend to get new customers -- at zero cost


I think it will work best if you have a physical business location, getting listed in the two local search sites below is a no-brainer. It's better than a yellow pages ad and it costs RIGHT ON!

1. Google Maps

Google Maps (recently merged with their Google Local) and will most likely quickly becoming the leader in local search.

Nice post. However, I find out that submitting to digg is not an efficient way to generate traffic. Traffic from such social bookmark sites could hardly convert to sales. Good way to promote your site, but not smart enough to get sales.

Then, another thing that you forget is SEO. Make sure you install all in one SEO pack plugin.

 

Really a good way for newbies to start earning money.
