how to start a remote desktop hosting service

    hello DP'ers

    im really want to get into remote desktop hosting
    but im not sure how to set it up once i get my dedi or vps.
    as im totally new to the win os, im more or a nix man myself

    i mean when xp desktop is hosted remotely on a server
    and users connect to that server to use the desktop

    sorry but still a little puzzled.Are you planning to use some softwares that can help you connect to a remote server?
    I have been using putty all the time,and I think it's pretty good.Maybe you can have a try.

    no i plan to get a windows vps or server
    and sell the remote desktops that comes
    with windows server 2003/8

    Well you will most likely need a dedicated server as most vps companys wont allow partioning or virtulization of a machine inside a virtual machine. Get a dedi install vmware and make some virtual machines to resell.
