If you want to start one just for fun you can do it in 2 hours:purchase script, get free template, category dump to instantly make categories and announce your directory to get some start up links.
If you want to earn money...that is another and much longer story.

I think I am going to write blog post now and will share link with you.

Creating a directory is one of the hardest sites I ever built. Who would have thunk it goin in? lol

Be prepared to spend time, time, money, time, time, money, money, money, and more time to reach a goal a few months away. To my knowledge success with a directory does not happen over night. ;)

It's not easy to get a directory up and running. The difficult is to make it stand out, as the competition is high. The important thing is to make a good promotion campaign. That means you must spend some money on it.

So I'm assuming there is a fee associated with each of Anon's mods? His mods are so highly regarded I would like to look into them. Should I justs end him a PM?
