How to split a large pst file?

    I have an Outlook 2007 user whose PST file size has increased over 6GB. Now he is unable to access all his mails because of its corruption.

    Is there any way by which I can reduce its size?

    I have heard from someone that by splitting your PST file into many small sized PST files, the whole PST file size will reduce. If it is true, can you tell me some free tools?

    You can split a large pst file into smaller one using pst splitter tools available. I have used Kernel for Split PST tool from http://www.splitpsttool.com/
