Cost and effectiveness are two different things.

There are a million "free" opportunities, ways to promote and so forth out there, but that doesn't mean they are worth one minute of your time. It goes the other way too.

As to South Park, the WoW episode was a classic. The fact that I was a WoW junkie made it even better. :)

I agree disregard the ppc advice - if you don't get it right, or don't get on to a good converting product, you can lose a lot of money with this.

Get a blog - free, update it and ping it daily, have either adsense or affiliate ads on it.

Adsense websites are good, you wont earn straight away from them though you need to build up your page rank and traffic.

Hostgator will get you hosting at $10 a month for unlimited domains - which is quite good if you plan to host a few adsense sites.

bummarketing is good and completely free to do - you can also work bummarketing into your adsense sites, promote your sites and your affiliate products on your sites using bummarketing.

Just a few suggestions - if you know html, etc, you could probably whip up some good adsense sites fairly quickly

What are you suggesting? That I make websites (or a blank template anyway) circulated around adsense and sell them? Do people buy that?

    Also, what is bummarketing?

    Thanks to everyone!
