Hey call an American computer company's call center. The guy will answer and say "Hello this is Bob (Rajesh), how may I help you?" Tell them you have already rebooted and keep telling them you tried whatever they suggest for the first two suggestions. After that say OK I will try that and act like you shutting down or checking bios. While you are doing this, talk casually with Raj...errr... I mean Bob and you can learn a call center accent pretty quickly.
The best way is to see movies and talk to someone american or with an american accent. Anyway just practice a lot.
gay Alert lol he said "i want to do job in american based call center" not ... my suggestion is just find some friends From USA , call and talk to him/her you must talk to have a fluent american accent
Learn your tenses. One of the biggest signs that someone is missing some knowledge of the English language is when they have tense errors. This may help: http://www.penandpage.com/EngMenu/gramverb.htm
Listen to internet radio like webmasterradio.fm. Most have typical American accents others have at least a New York accent.
So your going to be working for sbc huh. no offense but thats why i do not do business with them i think the only thing worse then talking to a robot is talking to someone who does not understand English, or understands me but i can not make out anything they say at all ever. I think there should be a law against American company's outsourcing anything overseas and of all things i pay them for a service and they can not provide it because i cannot understand the person on the phone thats just retarded. i mean this as not to offend you but i can tell you from personal experience you will be getting cussed out an awful lot by people like me. i think there should be at least a fluency requirement of 5 years and a number of tests at least.
