Hi there, I have started a SEO optimization of my site based in PHPFOX script. The site is intended to work in three languages (Spanish, English and German) and therefore I have got a problem: I could use META keywords in three languages, that’s not a problem. I could even add a META title in three languages (estrange but possible), but where I have not found a solution is in the shown Breadcrumb and even worse in the Page heading that I am implementing in each page of the site. I can’t repeat the same paragraph three times in three different languages. But using a Page heading in just one language would reduce the SEO optimization effect to just one language and also the users won’t be comfortable using a page which mix languages. Is there any solution for this or do I have necessarily to make three copies of the site and its content and presented each as www.mysite.com/en, www.mysite.com/es and www.mysite.com/de, depending on the selected language? Any idea would be appreciate By the way the site is www.skapada.com so you could see what I mean. Thanks
the most natural scenario is to create three versions of our website and host them as www.mysite.com/en, www.mysite.com/es and www.mysite.com/de, it is a little bit weird and confusing to stuff your meta tags with keywords from different languages, create 3 versions and optimize each version for its own language, don't mix stuff.
You can create three different sub sites for all three language. It is the best way to get optimize each page separately onpage and offsite SEO. Plus, the moment google sees you write in german language, your site might be ranked high in google.de sites and the same goes to other languages. It will benefit you in geo target google TLD search engines.
the site is www.grindul-lupilor.ro (there are 4+1 (default) languages . I am really having some hard time customizing the URLs using .htaccess, but i still can't get it through... I think i will just optimize it for the default language and wait to see if google will show all my other languages in theyr SERP. great day
