How to solve the errors which are showed in validator

I tried to validate my website with validor.w3.org. It shows some errors. I am not be able to understand how to solve them. Could you please guide me. Some of the errors are mentioned below:

Line 108, Column 312: required attribute "alt" not specified

The attribute given above is required for an element that you've used, but you have omitted it. For instance, in most HTML and XHTML document types the "type" attribute is required on the "script" element and the "alt" attribute is required for the "img" element.
Typical values for type are type="text/css" for <style> and type="text/javascript" for <script>

An "id" is a unique identifier. Each time this attribute is used in a document it must have a different value. If you are using this attribute as a hook for style sheets it may be more appropriate to use classes (which group elements) than id (which are used to identify exactly one element).

It is showing the source at validor website. Here I didn't understand where to solve the error in my website. It is saying as Line 108, column 312:

I logged in to my wordpress site. and went to Appearance, then Editor.

Now column 312 or column 12 means which file? Which files I have to edit.

Could you please guide me in a right way.
