How to show only non-supplemental results

    This may be old new, feel free to remove this thread if it is.

    Anyway, a while ago someone posted a query that returned supplemental results "site:example.com ****"

    I thought all my results were in supplemental, because when I run that query or the regular query ("site:example.com" or "site:www.example.com") all I see are supplemental.

    However, if I run "site:www.example.com www.example.com" -- I see only NON-supplemental results. I think this may indicate some sort of change is taking place?

    Anyway, hope that is useful to someone!

    Errm... does not appear to work for all domains. :( I don't know why. Some it just shows more non-supp but still supplementals.

    Odd, but some domains, it seems to work. Looking for more to test on...

    i checked it out for 2 sites for one it is working correctly but for 2nd one it is not.

    Dam_sid : Yea, it doesn't seem to always show ONLY non-supplemental. It does on some sites, like mine :

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=site:www.nddb.net

    Versus

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site:www.nddb.net+www.nddb.net&btnG=Google+Search


    I think in the first one you meant "digitalpoint.com" :

    http://www.google.com/search?q=site:www.digitalpoint.com+www.digitalpoint.com

    I don't see any supplemental results from that search, but it looks like it's missing plenty of non-supp pages. Very odd, one shows 18k results the other 107k.


    But yea, it changes the results quite a bit versus just a "site:" query, but not all sites show no supps when you do it. Only the few I messed with at first

    Also, that seroundtable.com, compare the two queries, one returns about 5000 and the other 4000. I could only find one supp at the very end of the "site:www.seroundtable.com www.seroundtable.com" verus the last 5 pages of "site:www.seroundtable.com" are supplemental results.

    I'm not sure exactly why it does it... pretty much every page on most sites contains a reference to the main domain. Seems like there shouldn't be any difference in these queries... ?

    If it shows only supp results for your site, then you have issues with your site being fully indexed.

    Yes, it has been completely supplemental for months. Only with this new query do I see new results. I think it signifies that the index is changing, just not completely done yet.
