How to shift the database of my forum

    i have a Vb forum of mine ...

    i was running it on a new server which is giving problems, so i have bought a new server ...

    Can any one please tell me how can i restore the whole forum in my new server ???

    just transfer it over, move the files, keep the same structure.
    create a new database, import the forum db and your good to go.

    if you have cpanel, look for the backup link, here you can backup/restore databases, just back it up and restore it on your new server.

    if you have no cpanel backup, you can try doing the same thing via phpmyadmin

    the backup/restore will take care of your files, you'll still have to create a database and import the forum db.
