I'm in the process of putting together a site that's gonna offer memberships to the visitors. This part seems to be the tricky part. I'm looking for a system that automatically drafts the monthly payment from the credit/debit card that the customer signs up with. I would also like for customers to be able to make individual purchases on items if they choose without having to sign up for a membership. I don't really know much about this process. So I'm hoping that someone can point me in the right direction. I know that paypal offers this feature for business or merchant accounts. But if there's a better way, then I want to know about it. Any help would be appreciated.
aMember is what you need, it support Major Payment Processors Including PayPal, Supports recurring Billing using CredtiCard/PayPal etc etc
I have heard many mixed emotions about PayPal but I think the Merchant account is great. I have tried a load of different options over the years, but PayPal works wonders in my opinion. With the recurring payments you can edit whatever you like too - You just dont get to see the full card number once it is stored (which is a good thing). As for the customer buying from you, they dont even get to see paypal as it runs in the background... unless they choose to pay you using the "paypal option" The only thing I cant stand is the speed... It is a very slow site when you are browsing through transactions
