How to setup bank wire

Hello DP members,
I want to know how can i setup bank wire,I mean i am a publisher and i want to set up wire transfer so that i can get payment to my bank directly.So, what details are required to setup bank wire and are there any charges for this?

I think you should be speaking with your bank.

 

Contact your bank branch where you have your account and they would help you understand and complete the process!

Generally speaking you need a SWIFT Code & bank account number/identifier. In some countries you may need some additional info. So you are best to speak with your bank.
All wire transfers incur some charges. There's usually a flat fee involved regardless of the amount being received, plus some % fee if your bank uses intermediaries to process the payment (and a lot of banks do use intermediaries). But again you should speak with your bank about this. Keep in mind that the charges and fees can differ considerably from one bank to another so it would be wise to shop around for the best deal.

 

Thanks for the replies guys and i will now speak to the bank person. Btw can you all suggest me should i accept paypal or bank wire as a payment? What is a wise option?

 

I would say both if you can. The more options you have the more customers you can attract or retain.

 

You have to contact your bank. For that you should have swift code of the bank, bank routing number etc....

 

You would need to give following details to sending company :-

Bank name
Account number
Account name
Bank address
Swift code

Charges of wire depends from country to country and bank to bank
