You have the PC on dual boot right, so you can choose the OS during the boot process.

You have to follows the following steps.

    1. Partition the main disk of the Windows Powered server appliance as described in Partitioning, Formatting, and Installing the Main Disk.
    2. Install Microsoft Windows 2000 on the primary operating system (OS) partition or volume, including the Internet Information Services (IIS) component.
    3. Install the Windows 2000 multilingual user interface (MUI). Optional: If building a NAS server appliance, install Microsoft Services for UNIX (SFU) and Services for NetWare.
    4. Install Microsoft Server Appliance Kit components on the primary partition or volume.
    5. Install multilingual support for your server appliance on the primary partition or volume.
    6. Test server appliance OS and verify that it meets the requirements.
    7. Run saprep.exe from the Server Appliance Kit. To make the server appliance headless, use the –d command-line argument when you run saprep.exe.
    8. Prepare the system for manufacturing by running the SysPrep Wizard from Windows 2000. Running SysPrep will automatically shut down the server appliance afterwards.
    9. If you are not creating a backup OS image on this drive, you are now ready to remove the drive from the server appliance and copy this master image using a low-level disk-copying tool.

Warning Do not boot the image on the master disk. Only boot images that have been copied.
    10. If your appliance supports failover to a backup OS and the backup OS is on the same disk as the primary OS, you must follow the steps in Creating a Backup Operating System.
