To create an HTML heading, surround the text you want as your heading with one of the following heading tags. For example:
    <h1>This is Heading 1</h1>
    <h2>This is Heading 2</h2>
    <h3>This is Heading 3</h3>
    <h4>This is Heading 4</h4>
    <h5>This is Heading 5</h5>
    <h6>This is Heading 6</h6>
Some things to remember about heading tags:

    • There is no guarantee that every browser will display the H1 tag in exactly the same font family and size.
    • Try to keep your headings in a logical order. H1 comes first, followed by H2, then H3, etc.
    • Headings put in line breaks for you, so you don't have to worry about using <p></p> and <br /> tags.

You can use target keyword as H1 tag and second priorities keyword as H2 tag but don't add unnecessary H tag.

Header tags are an effective way to communicate to the search engines and readers what a page is about. They convey the importance of the text inside of the header tag. Often times, the header tags are not in the proper order. This is how a header tag would appear in the page.
<h1>Header</h1> — The Theme Of The Page
    <h2>Header</h2> — Main Sub Sections Of <h1>
    <h3>Header Text</h3> — Sub Sections Of <h2>

Heading tags are the important for onpage SEO factors. Search Engines give an importance to the header tags and having your targeted keywords in them can do a lot of good. The <h1> to <h6> tags are used to define HTML headings, these tags serve to divide the page into sections. Heading tags generally indicate the topic for the entire web page and most people look first when they're trying to figure out what the page is about. Content in the H1 tag consider most important and higher rank than other content on the page.

These are Some of the factors use in header tag:
Use your Main keyword in H1 tag
Use H2 tags to break down the main topic
Use H3 in natural flow of the article to make it more reader friendly.

Putting important keywords in H1-H3 tags may give them some more prominence, it's good for on page optimization. But the technique is not crazy powerful and doesn't even qualify for a separate technique in my opinion.
Anyhow, valen123 is right. I only want to say that WordPress does it for you even if you don't know HTML.
