How to set up SMTP server on my comp and send mails

    Hi all!
    I have problem with SMTP server.

    1.I have dloaded some free smtp application and set up the server.only one at once.

    2.I sent my mail to the server on port 25 from a mail sender program.

    3.After this i wanted to send further the mail from my comp without using ISP's SMTP.

    4.My ISP blocked port 25.So i wanted to send on 587 port.

    5.But sent failed cuz connection refused:confused:.And was authorization failed error too. Oo :(


    So PLEASE somebody who knows how to solve my problem REPLY.:):)

    Connection is refused because you need to set ur software to make port 587 to send mails.

    what software?
    the smtp app or the mail sender app?
    iam not sure what should i do :(

    i sent mail with a mail sender to the smtp server on port 25,after that i wanted to send further with smtp server on port 587. So i wanted to use my comp as an smtp gateway.but something bad.
    I dont see the problem :(:(:(
