How to set up RSS feed

    I am going to set up my wordpress site's rss in feedburner.com. put down my site address and want to verify my feed. But a message is shown like-
    The URL does not appear to reference a valid XML file. We encountered the following problem: Error on line 118: The markup in the document following the root element must be well-formed.

    How to I solve the problem? what the process to sign up rss

    You should provide your wordpress feed address to feedburner.
    In Wordpress blog, the feed address would be http://{your-blog-name}.wordpress.com/feed/

    I follow your direction but problem has not solved. A new message is shown-
    An error occurred connecting to the URL: Error getting URL: 404 - Not Found
    How to I validate my feed URL?

    Validate your feed from here: http://validator.w3.org/feed/
    Alternatively, do you have a google webmaster tool account? If else create one. Add your site there. There is an option to "fetch as Googlebot". You can view how google is reading the page. Verify whether it reads the feed properly.

    1. Use the free WebReference RSS Channel Editor to set up a channel and list up to 15 articles.
    2. Upload the file you've created to your webserver.
    3. Validate the XML to make sure it can be read by the multitude of news aggregation programs.
    4. Advertise your RSS feed (channel) to various directories and to your site visitors
    5. Maintain your feed by adding new articles using the RSS Channel Editor
    News aggregators are the software tools used to read the RSS news feeds that you and your customers will subscribe to.
