How to set up a affilate bookstore (what software to use)

I'd like to add a bookstore to my site, that allows me to get income from affiliate programs.

I have no clue what software to use, to setup this bookstore. I do not know if I need one e-commerce solution or if I need to integrate a shopping cart with an affiliate software platform. This is all very new to me.

My audience is international, so I need geotargetting.
I want to join multiple affiliate programs, to cater to users from different continents and countries.
The solution should be able to cope with high numbers of concurrent users.

I'd much appreciate all help.

 

Do you want to add bookstore to an existing(with some content) website or want to make a e-bookstore website?
If you want to setup a e-commerce site.. there are so many scripts available.If you want to add offers to your existing site,you can try amazon affiliate program and add some widgets with e-book offers.

 

I have an existing site (vb big board) that is one of the top ranking sites in my niche, and want to add a affiliate bookstore. I would add a tab to each page, that would point to the bookstore. The bookstore does not exist yet. In the bookstore want to offer books from a number of affiliate networks.
I am interested in offering both e-books as physical books and possibly other affiliate products.

I have tried amazon and although its setup is easy, I hate it due to its low commissions and severe payment restrictions for non-US affiliates. I just lost my commission I earned from them, with no possibility of reclaiming it. (due to) So forget about amazon. I'll write that off as a learning experience.

Is there e-commerce software that allows me to:
- add products from multiple affiliate programs
- in contrast to normal shopping carts, directs customers to the affiliate network, instead of a checkout in the cart.
- use geotargetting

Or do I have the wrong idea here?

 

There are lots of scripts available in your fantastico/softaculous.Zencart,prestashop,magento are good and easy to setup.

 

How do you use magento to integrate with affiliate networks?

 

Any other script will also do. I appreciate any help, information.

 

Why don't you try Google adsense it would be defiantly helpful for you...
