Hi, I do not understand goals. Are they to set a target i want. "10,000 visitors per month" or are they for setting pages on your site that i want to track exactly how people navigate to that page? Say the checkout page and listing all the pages people visit on the way to the check out page?
    Cheers. Eunan.

Nope, Analytics looks how many visitors visited your website. It is domain based. It doesn't looks inside your website's coding and databases. So it can't do the job. But you can get a plug-in(if available) for your forum to do that. For example, I use phpbb statistics for my phpbb3 based forum.

you have to find your targeted market first. in google analytics you can find the option of Geo targeting visitors. you can target your goal on your targeted market. because the targeted visitors increase your sales.

Google Analytics will help to track the website’s performance on the search engines. You can also notice that how much visitors are coming to your site.
