if you want to track inquiries on your website then you can do it by setting goal conversion in google analytics. specify which will be the final destination / thank you page which users will reach after submitting the inquiry form. after which every time any one reaches that page, it will be notified in google analytics as one goal conversion. you can set it up from the setting section.

    login in to account>>click "edit">>click "add goal">>give goal name/goal type-url destination/goal url/goal value>>save goal

    goal url will be

    /thanks.html

if site's visitor's reach this page after filling the form

Goals are mainly set on thanks page to know the number of inquiries. As you login into your analytics accounts you will get an option to add goal. Click on that, give a name to your goal and thanks page(targeted page) url and save.
