How to set blog on my domain

Hi guys .It easy to make a blog on blogger.com etc but how to put their software on my own domain i have bought.I just want to be completely mine so i bought a domain name.10x

 

use wordpress.
install with fantastico from your cpanel (hosting manager)

First of all you need to point your domain to your webhost (change the DNS nameservers of your domain) and then install Wordpress on your hosting account.

 

See the 5 Minute Install, WordPress.org. I would not recommend using Fantastico, for a live site, use it for testing purposes.

 

Wait...you have Blogger, and you want your domain to work with it, right? If you bought hosting with your domain, you might as well try WordPress...however if you just got a domain...all you need to do is forward the domain to your Blogger address.

The steps depend on your host, but look for the domain forwarding options. If you have trouble...try Googling "domain forwarding with *insert your domain host*" and all variations thereof.

Both have their limitations. Host your own and you'll be 100x more satisfied.

Yes my cousin is hosting provider he gives me the domain and unlimited space for free.I need to know how to lets say install the word press`s software on my domain instead of using their server.I am making science-fiction blog...

 

If you want to have you own blog like on
www.yourdomainname.com

then first of all you need to have following this
1.A hosting account.
2.Domain (which you already have)

Now Follow the following process to have a blog

1.Find the name server of your host
(it will be like ns1.host.com )
2.add your domain to your hosting account
(Add domain option or if you have hosting account then this is already done)
3.Change the name server of domain to your hosting account
like
NS1.yourhosting.com
NS2.yourhosting.com

4.login into your Cpanel (hosting account)
5.go to fantastico Delux (option in Cpanel)
6.Check Wordpress Installation
7.Fill out the necessary fields
8.Click next

HUrry..!!
Wordpress Installed Now You can Enjoy Your Blogging.

Go your Domain login wordpress Now Configure it,Import your previous blog if you want else proceed to your free way of blogging.

Note:Their are some themes and plugins which are need to be install to get awesome experience of blogging.
Like akismet,Seo,Youtube,comments,rss,CACHE Related etc etc.
