How to set a certain webpage as your main page?

    Hi, i have a website and at the moment when i goto my url it comes up as index/ then a list of all my files then once i click one the site will work , but how do i get it to land on to a certain page, ive tryed redrecting but once i do that it comes up with 404 error. any one on msn who could help me with this?

    Sounds like you have uploaded your pages to the wrong directory. Send a quick note to your webhost and or log in with FTP and see the location of your files. Try moving them to the public_html directory.

    Ive fixed the prob now, i needed to do my main page as index.html i had Index.html
