I sometimes make 'sections' in blog post with heading that uses some variation of the keyword. I also keep a addthis button on the post so that visitors can bookmark it.
I write the articles naturally without checking the keywords,etc and they are ranking very well. And also, it's not a good idea to write the article with full of keywords.
