i have a web site which are include more than 50 articles. The Articles were written by me for covered several areas.Now i'm going to SEO for my web site. Mainly i'm focusing one long tail keyword for one article.i want to create backlinks for my articles.(deep linking). Not for my home page. Already i have submitted my 50 Articles in to 5 social book marking sites. digg,mixx,folked...etc. What are the other techniques i have to follow.please tell me. thank you

To SEO your site you need to have a good Onpage implemented on your site to make things easier and ofcourse it all depends on Offpage SEO (Backlinks). Onpage SEO mainly requires that you have 1. Tageted Keyword Density between 4-7% 2. Targeted Keyword on your URL 3. Targeted keyword on your title tag. And there are several others like Page structure, Header tags, formated text and so on but the most important factor is to have the above 3. Good on page advise from Rav above. For offpage you are off to a good start too. Since you are a writer you will benefit from posting articles to journals and forums that pertain to your niche. Try Ezine and Squidoo too. Also consider getting an article spinner to generate several articles from one. Be sure not to use duplicate content when you submit your articles too- Google ignores duplicate content. Good luck to you.
If you already wrote your articles and now are considering your SEO you are doing things backwards, as you should have started considering SEO as you wrote your articles not afterwards
I have any trick to optimize my article and get backlinks for increasing Page Rank of my article. I have many article with PR1-2. Just simply do blog walking for other site that has "dofollow" attribute in their comment box and leave your link especially for article you want to SEO.
When writing the articles you should consider its keyword density. It can help your site's SERP. You can still make use of your 50 articles. Set it as your base content and spin them in order to get variations you can submit to article sites. I use easyarticlespinner.net in spinning because it can produce unique varied content acceptable by those article sites.

Doing keyword research and choose right keyword for each of your article. Then building link with those keyword and get high effective. If you already doing it, you can repeat it with another keyword for same article which you already done with the first keyword. I think it's good and bring more traffic to you.
