If you wanted to send out a newsletter consisting of 100 000+ e-mails cheaply, how would you do it? I'm thinking of php list + a VPS. But is there a big risk of being classed as a spammer even though I am not? The cost would be $50 a month for this. Or are there cheap newsletter services to use? I haven't found any really cheap ones. The one I've found are for example yourmailinglistprovider.com and www.streamsend.com/features_price.htm.. But the price isn't that low really in my opinion, but it's difficult to find cheaper ones. The recipients of my list is mainly freebies so the economical value per recipient isn't that high. I guess the riskk of being classed as a spammer is lower with a service like these ones?

I have had information up that they agree to receive a newsletter when registering for years although I've never actually sent out any newsletter. Do you mean installing a software on my home computer or a hosted script? Maybe I'd get trouble from my ISP if I sent out such a large newsletter from my computer?
