Could it be due to very few people understand what is e-Gold about? no to mention they are associated to fraudulent HYIP schemes

Good News? you previously said this:
2checkout charges your $50+ for setting up your account so I don't see where the good news are :O

Yes, that's a one-time fee I payed more than a year ago through a Croatian reseller. I didn't use it for months after because I had trouble setting it up at first (I wanted a whole system with a buy button and stuff) and gave up.

Later on I tried again, with that same account, and got it all set up in a rather simple way. In fact I don't use a fancy system *yet*. I have a simple page listing offers for sale, but don't give out the link to it much. I just give direct links to people who agree to buy to an offer I present elsewhere, like here on DP.

And yes, fees aren't really small for transfers and they also hold a bit of money on account, which is why I still prefer moneybookers. But being able to accept credit cards (where buyer can pay easily) has done a good deal for my business, so it's something worth having.

When I grow bigger and even better established I'll just go with big guys like Authorize.net or WorldPay.com, but for now 2CO and moneybookers will do.
