facebook has many restrictions, you should take care if you do so.

 

If you admin of facebook group, you can send your message to your group members (by invitation or by facebook mail).
You must consider not sending a lot of message, it'll considered as spam, and your members will leave the group

 

Hi a secure idea is to get an autoresponder, create a page even with aweber is going to be hosting the form (in this way you don't need hosting) once you do that, offer them something for free, some report or some of interest in exchange of their email-address, and make this offer in different forms for some days, in this way you pull from there your users, any other method is risky.

An autoresponder is a paid software check for example aweber.com or getresponse.com are the most popular.
If you put a link in your fanpage where you offer them something valuable many of them are going to see your ad and they are going to signup, once there you can send to all the persons on your list if you have 20,000 or 50,000 you can do it, from that type of autoresponders, if you try using for example an gmail account or something you are going to be banned.

Do you really need to send them message privately, or you can do it publicly? I think your only solution is to create a page on Facebook and ask them to like your page. If done, you can now share with them your message through your page wall - This will be visible on their wall and can read them without you getting banned.
