Is there an option where when a person subscribes to my feedburner, once they click the link a reply gets sent to them with a custom message of my choice?
I'm not sure about this but I believe you have to set it up where feedburner sends an email out, the new entries you post. Is that what you mean? Because they will get that message in the mailbox first hand without entering site.
No I mean like if someone subscribes, an email with a confirmation link is sent right? well when the user clicks on that link a new email is sent confirming their subscription. Well I want to email that is sent confirming their subscription to say something else. But thanks though
Ah I gotcha now. I didn't understand at first. I'm not sure either. Why don't you throw an email to feedburner and see if you can change that up.
They confirm for feedburner.com notices ONLY!!! It's against their TOS to email your subscribers out of feedburner. You will be marked and reported as SPAMMER. Try to signup for a hosted solution like www.sendstudio.info or www.aweber.com and replace the feedburner with your code so when a subscribers goes in your list and confirm their subscription you are then 100% entiled to email that subscriber, but keep in mind. no way to do that with your feedburner subscribers. THEY SUBSCRIBE ON YOUR NEW POSTS ONLY and not for newsletters or whatever you plan to email them.
Yeah I haven't mailed them or anything. If you read my tutorial I don't do anything innapropiate, I still leave the confirm link there I just tell them to reply to the email.
