    Hi,

I've got a list of prospects - actually there are 10,000 - now before you slam me for being a spammer - this is all targeted mail. i tried it before but had 2 accounts suspended (annoyingly i had a load of sales leads generated which i lost.)
Do you know how i can do this - is there a way - with a certain account somewhere or a service that offers this - and no i'm not selling porn or get rich quick schemes.

Any advice would be greatly received.

    Thanks,
    James

    James,

We use a company called onlineitools.com for our email marketing campaigns. Currently my list is about 10,000 names. The emails are sent out via their servers, not our ISP.

I agree you need to use someone else's server. Aweber and GetResponse are very good for this.

I think it's worth mentioning that these aren't actual customers of mine - just a list i purchased.
So there are some people who are happy to receive the mail and some who are somewhat unpleaseant and who i believe report my mail as spam - hence me losing my account.
Any further ideas to stop this happening?
Or should i just sign up for an email account - send 10,000 and then get a new one later (what i don't want though is for the account to get suspended when i've got a load of prospects in.

    Thanks

You gotta go with a professional server like aweber or icontact and keeps things off your system.

that makes you the spammer. these people probably signed up to one list for whatever the product is/was...now it is being sold, now these people will be spammed from others that buy this list. If the customer did not signup directly with you, then you are sending spam when you contact them, and not only that, 50 other people maybe spaming them also...sounds like a no-win game plan to me.
