Hello, i recently got my email ids for marketing in txt file . i am using different tools for sending email using gmail account . the problem is after sending 30 -40 mails it says daily sending quota exceed.i know i am asking a stupid question but i am really new at this e-marketing stuff and i start this for my own webs so my question is what is the best way to send out 1000+ emails per day either using gmail google group account because i received marketing mails from the google group too don't know how they are sending to me . can anyone please guide me on this . thanks waiting for response
I'd be cautious about sending out mass unsolicited e-mail. It seems they are really cracking down on that (not only Google, but a lot of other e-mail providers as well). I think you'd be safer if you set up some kind of news letter and let people opt in to receive it.
Using Gmail to conduct your business is studpid for several reasons: 1. An online business that does not have their own domain is not serious or trustworthy. I say that from the perspective of a customer. Many people, myself included, sends those type of emails to Google and flags it as SPAM. 2. Google is dead serious about Spam. Once your account is banned for spam, Google will make it very difficult for you to do anything else with IM that concerns Google. It really isn't worth the risk. 3. Any web hosting service that is worth a hoot will give you unlimited emails. Get a domain and use those. But remember, those hosting companies do not like spam either and will close your account if you get caught. I know you did not mention that you are spamming anyone. But you did mention you are new to the "email marketing stuff". My experience has been that it does not matter if you are guilty or not of spamming. All it takes is for you to be accused and it will cause you big headaches until you can show that you were not spamming. Even those popular companies such as Aweber has been put in the world of hurt for members spamming. So, if you are considering email marketing, you should consider getting your own autoresponder and use double opt in to help protect yourself. Good luck!! Zeek

Zeek i would only like to send 1,000 mail per hour and i am not interested in opening my email marketing business but use this for my own website so that visitor keeps coming.i ask my hosting provider they said that i can send email around 500 per hour. what i want to know how come other sending google group send their emails to me if this is not allowed by gmail. they used some sort of google group with the gmail sending id and one important question how much second should i wait to send the per email again using any client software to send email so that it does not consider as spam. thanks waiting for response
Definitely do *not* use Gmail... spend some money and use a professional campaign management tool that complies to SPAM laws.
Dear DigiChat, It's true that as a Google group admin you can send emails to your group members. But these are solicited emails as they are addressed to members who have opted in to join the group and receive emails. However, if you want to be taken seriously as an Internet business, simply sign up to an auto-responder service and avoid all spam issues at once. These companies specialize in deliverability and they comply with the CANN spam act rules, so that a subscriber can easily unsubscribe from your list if he so wishes. With these companies it's easy to send 1000s of emails per day without having them bounced back or flagged as spam. I would choose one of these 4 leading providers: 1.Getresponse.com (My personal favorite) 2.Aweber.com 3.iContact.com 4.Listwire.com (A free option which is good as well) Hope that helps Adam
The best thing to do is join a newsletter service, then you can send as many as you want (well ... depending on the plans for that service).
Only 1000 per hour? Whew!! Is that really necessary? Even 500 is fairly high, in my opinion. And since your hosting provider limits you to 500, that should be a good indicator of the max you should even consider. Even if you were to go to one of those autoresponders such as aweber or Getresponse, I doubt very seriously if you would be able to get to the 1000 mark. Even they have to be careful and do not guarantee delivery of xx amount of emails in a certain period of time. Even they have to be careful. This is all due to not only spam but to security issues. There are many ways to detect threats on the internet. An extremely large number of packets coming from the same IP address in a short period of time will raise a flag on many networks. Far to difficult to explain here. I would stick with your hosting company and follow their guidelines. I probably would even come down a bit to 400 per hour or maybe even 300. Yes it will take longer but it could increase the number of emails that people will receive. At 400 that would be roughly 6 emails per minute. That is far less than the 16 per minute if you want to use the 1000 figure, but big deal. Good luck!!
You can not send 1000 mail daily by one gmail account, it's better for you that you contact web hosting services and get registered email address and sent email by this email accounts
Gmail allow 500 emails per day, so you can use two Gmail account for sending 1000 emails. But there are some policy of gmail, like if 25+ email bounce back, then your account may be disable for 24 hours or more.. so better to read gmail policy. Another method is create Google group and add those emails and post your message and all people will be notified.. but it is still illegal. its your choice.
If you're serious about sending to a list, use VerticalResponse: www.verticalresponse.com. They have technology and relationships with email services in place to ensure most of your mail does not end up tagged as spam. This also keeps your operation legal, as I know Google will frown on your use of Gmail for mass mail sending!
I wouldn't use gmail. I would get my own software to do mass emails or use people like aweber to do my work.
You can use an email marketing software, there are some email marketing softwares that can help you find the right audience for your email well you must always remember that quality is way better than quantity.
thanks for the replies . really helpful. just one thing i need to ask . my host provider said i can send 300 email per hour from my web server. so i was thinking to use it . here i would like you to mention that i have open a website few months back, don't want to develop that website and now i can not cancel the hosting and already paid for the whole year so i can try this for experiment. but what i would like to know here that what will cause to my that domain for sending 300 email in 1 hour . will that domain of mine become black listed ? or what will be the affect of this sort of thing on my .com domain . thanks once again for replies. waiting for reply.
I use Email Marketing Email to send large amounts of emails. They use their own software and servers to give you a best results around. email-marketing-email.com.
