Hi guys, I thought maybe someone can give me some tips on how to sell banner/text ads on my site. The site is very targeted you can check out by searching it in google : citycatalogue (citycatalogue.com) . There is a system where it is easy to buy advertising because its all automated. (The site is relatively new, so you can see the traffic is not booming, however there is a steady increase in traffic, backlinks, and the pagerank has been going up) I wanted to know where I can find the people who need such advertising , so far I had ideas such as : Ebay, buyandsellads.com do you guys have any tips or suggestions on where I can find people, who need this kind of advertising.
Could you look at companies who are already doing some online advertising? That way, you know that they at least have an internet advertising budget, which could be a good starting point.
Thanks for the suggestion That is one of the things i thought about, collecting a database of companies i find on different sites who are advertising with banners or textads. But this is only 1 way of doing it, there should be some more alternatives out there
