How to sell books from my site?

I have designed the site,have hosting account ,have the domain but need some help.
I want to sell a book from my website.How will I make it that after a person click the "buy it" button to be taken to the download page?Can I uplad the book together with the template but to be downloadable only when someone pays?
If,not should I upload it to a free file hosting website?

Well, one way is to sent the file/link by email but thats little bit crispy, another way is some kind of "ticket" php system... all I can recommend you try

I think there is a few scripts that would do that for you.

It's limited to offering Paypal based services, but as long as that suits you, digital delivery options are fantastic.
I've used this for my own project at www.pxam.com and it seemed to be a good script.
