Currently i have a website/blog. I want to sell it online. But i don't know the procedures and what are the things need to be included in website sales. Things i need to know: 1) steps to sell a website, 2) the things i need to provide to the buyer. e.g URL,....... 3) Do i need to give away my hosting together with the website?? i not post this thread in "buy sell trade" because im not sell, yet. I just want to know how to sell. Advance thanks.
ya i did that, but.... they only talking about the surface things let me more specific.. example.. i got a website, abc.com, hosted in "def hosting" when i want sell it.. do i provide: a) Only the "abc.com" URL b) "abc.com" URL + "def hosting"
Provide your website URL that you're selling. Usually, the buyer will want to transfer the site to their own hosting account. You can choose to offer 3 months (or so) free hosting, after the site is sold.
u need to sell only the site not the hosting. And provide details like alexa, traffic stats, pagerank, etc.
that's cool. so basically the buyer will do URL forwarding to their own hosting... So the steps i can conclude... 1) buy hosting and domain 2) develop the domain 3) sell ONLY the domain... any more input i need to know?? thanks guys/girls.
I beleive this is the best place on the net to sell your site .. just go to the sell and buy section post ur site details if there is anny income statistics screenshots , site age , domain expirey , u can make auction or offer it for a fixed price ... its easy gd luck
You can sell it in forums such as DP.Then wait guys who are interested in it to ask you.At least, you should get an idea on its price.As to the hosting and domain,I think it depens.You can ask your potential buyer's opinion.Well,good luck.

So when i sell the site, do i need configure/install wordpress and plugin into buyer's hosting to make abc.com works how previously it work in my hosting??
If you just want to sell the domain, try sedo.com. If you want to sell website as a going concern, take a look at businessesforsale.com
That is a good question.. did you mean you will sell website (domain+hosting)? if you want sell a package (domain+hosting) it will be difficult.. you must have a good website that give people advantages and many people interested to your site. but you can sell Your domain only (almost buyer did not want your hosting) >> hope your succes on buy, sell, and trade
