    P.S.

This is in the website selling section, probably not the question that should be right there....?????!?

This area is for website sales, not website sales advice..

Ok then. ;) What happens when you are selling a digital item that doesn't involve speaking with the other party of the sale, like on a website that has an instant payment processor (like DLGuard, etc) Then you get these scammers that like to use phished Paypal accounts, etc. You cannot protect yourself as a buyer with Paypal. You can but there are EXTRA steps that you need to take, such as a poster said above: offering a receipt for purchase, waiting 24 hours, etc. Thats great advice IMHO.

To the OP of this thread, let us know how it goes and what kind of payment processor you end up using.

EDITED: I do agree this post is in the wrong section.

But really AngelaR I have never dealt with this kind of transaction got to watch out for phished accounts. Guess I have been lucky enough not to deal with this.

If it is a large enough amount, I would use a escrow service and make the buyer pay the fees. Also you may want to look at the buyers posting style if it is on here to see if they are buying VCCs or fake bank accounts. This is a sure sign that they are a scammer.

Also get a receipt from the buyer through real email stating that they received everything you promised. This can be used as proof of they make a claim.
