Hi, DP members, I have a question need your help. I am optimizting a website, the first thing i wanna select the keywords, so i come to the goole adwords keywords tools and the worktracker.com to check get the keywords suggestion, But i find there are some difference between them: I search the keywords "ed hardy wholesale", the wordtracker.com show 46 searchs, and the google local search 5,400 global search 27,100, why the difference comes, or i misunderstand the google local search? Need your help!
i understand wordtracker filters out some clicks, why? - i am not really sure.i think google will show you click volume across its search and content network partners, but wordtracker will only show you searches for google.
First of all, do you have Google set to "broad" match? If so, try and adjust it to an exact match. You'll probably see a big difference in monthly searches.
i think compare to word tracker, u should trust on google keyword tool and also u need to check manually keywords of competitior and used spyfu that also best tool.
Wordtracker combines the daily search traffic from multiple search engines in a formula they use. Google shows very accurate, but sometimes off, data based on previous keyword volume analysis, etc. The difference you see is because: 1. Different tools pull from different sources 2. Wordtracker is daily searches; Google keyword is monthly.
I rarely use Wordtracker as i believe most on Google tools. Google Sktool, Google insight and Google trends are the tools which I use happily for my keywords research. I am quite sure every time about the keywords performance, when using above G instruments..
