How to select domain name

    please tell me how to select domain name for better search engine ranking for exoample i am creating money related website so i can go for myincome.com if its not available can i use myincom.com is there any problems with spelling

    please guide me

    More importantly i would check to see what keywords and phrases are searched for in your market, even if the domain is nice and short, make sure the domain makes sense to what people are searching.

    Hi,

    There are a lot of opinions going on right now about what makes a good domain name. One hot area is keyword rich names. Not only does it tell search engines about your site but with a keyword already in your domain every link you provide to other web sites is a keyword rich backlink.

    Off late, the concept of name branding has also caught up. The domain name need not specifically suggest the niche that it caters to.Google, actually does not have any relation with search. But now the the word itself has become so popular that it is naturally associated with search !
